Many organisations have visible commitments to LGBTQ+ inclusion, but translating those commitments into practical actions that improve experiences for LGBTQ+ patients, clients, residents and staff can be challenging.

This webinar will explore how organisations are moving beyond awareness and building cultures of active allyship, partnership with service users and visible inclusion.

Together, we’ll explore:

• What allyship looks like in practice within health and wellbeing settings
• Examples of successful inclusion initiatives from across the sector
• How organisations can create opportunities for rolemodelling and leadership
• Practical resources and implementation strategies
• Common challenges and lessons learned

The session will include a short presentation, practical examples from the sector, opportunities for reflection, and audience discussion.

Who should attend?

Healthcare professionals, diversity and inclusion practitioners, workforce capability teams, aged care providers, community service organisations, managers, leaders, and anyone committed to advancing LGBTQ+ health equity.

This webinar will be delivered online and run for approximately 35-40 minutes, with time for questions and discussion at the conclusion of the session.
